About This Event
Ettu Nombu is an eight-day period of fasting, prayer and devotion to St. Mary, observed with great faith by Christian communities in Kerala. Manarcad Pally, officially known as St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Cathedral in Kottayam district, is one of the most prominent centres of this observance. The cathedral belongs to the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Church and is recognised as a Global Marian Pilgrim Centre, attracting thousands of devotees during the annual Ettu Nombu season.
