About the role

Cigma Medical Coding is recruiting Medical Coding Freshers for the IP Coding process at Infopark, Kochi. Freshers only, with CPC certification mandatory and a Life Science / Paramedical graduation. The role involves accurate documentation to support coding and billing, translating medical information into standardized codes and processing insurance claims. Selection is by assessment, technical round and HR discussion, with a direct interview at the company location in Kochi.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate and complete documentation to support coding and billing.
• Translating medical information into standardized codes.
• Filling out claim forms or creating electronic submissions.
• Sending the claims to the appropriate insurance companies or payers.
• Tracking the status of submitted claims and addressing any denials or issues.

What you’ll need

• Fresher Only.
• Certification: CPC Mandatory.
• Qualification: Life Science / Paramedical Graduates.
• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles.
• Age: Below 30.
• 2 Years Bond Applicable.
