Vacancy for Medical Coding Fresher (Authorization Executive)

About the role

Cigma Medical Coding is recruiting Medical Coding Freshers for the Authorization Executive process at Infopark, Kochi. The role reviews medical documents and translates them into medical codes, processes claims for reimbursement, and ensures compliance with coding guidelines. Qualification: BA/BCom/Non Life Science Graduates.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documents like lab reports, physician's notes and diagnoses to translate them into medical codes.
• Review and process medical claims for reimbursement to insurance companies.
• Compiling, processing and maintaining medical records.
• Abstracting key data from the medical information.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the claims process.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations and communicate with clinical staff.

What you’ll need

• Qualifications: BA/BCom/Non Life Science Graduates.
• Certification: Not Mandatory (Certified candidates are preferred).
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th and UG (Any Two).
• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles.
• 2 Years Bond; immediate joining.
