Conceptual Designer – (Freshers welcome)

About the role

Conceptual Designer – Objects, Spaces & Experiences. Transform abstract ideas, behavioural principles and technology-driven objectives into tangible objects, functional prototypes and thoughtfully designed experiences. Responsibilities include developing concepts for everyday objects and workplace accessories, creating designs, sketches, models and prototypes, communicating ideas with text and illustrations, exploring materials and design options, incorporating feedback, and working with the team to develop finished products. Required skills include creative thinking, problem-solving, drawing or sketching, design tools, teamwork, and interest in materials, prototyping, product design, technology and human behaviour. Final-year students or fresh graduates with a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design or related fields can apply. Portfolio required. Preferred familiarity with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD or equivalent; 3D modelling and human-centred design are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Explore materials and design options, incorporate feedback, and develop ideas into finished products with team members.

What you’ll need

• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and design execution.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic drawing, sketching or design-tool knowledge.

Qualifications

• Final-year students or fresh graduates with a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design or related fields.
